Central Unified School District Board of Trustees Interest
Central USD Board of Trustee Role:
The Central Unified School District Board of Education consists of seven members elected to four-year terms. Elections are held by district.
The Governing Board has been elected by the community to provide leadership by citizen oversight of the district. The Board shall ensure that the district is responsive to the values, beliefs, and priorities of the community.
How MCVF supports education:
Education is important to us, and we hope it is important to you as well. As a group that advocates for our neighbors, Moving the Central Valley Forward has a great interest in promoting educational opportunities which includes:
• addressing literacy,
• chronic absenteeism,
• student safety, and
• facility upgrades.

There are three Central USD Board of Trustee positions up for election in November 2024:
Trustee Area #3 -Rio Vista Middle Region
Trustee Area #5 – Central East High Region
Trustee Area #6 – El Capitan Middle Region
